  1. Thanks for posting this. I see your point. The mythologies and symbolisms are linked, and are shared and echoed around the world. But that doesn’t make them untrue. The evidence for Jesus’ existence as a real man in history shows us that the mythologies are all pointing towards something – something that is real and true and tangible. Jesus’ life is documented not only in Christian gospels, but in contemporary non-Christian and secular sources too. The fact of his real life on earth shows us just how important it is to engage with the cultural mythologies, because they’re all telling the story of an event that actually came to happen in the history of the world. That’s what makes all the difference for our real lives, too. Blessings.
